Minted was conceived as a response to a growing challenge in the academic and early-career landscape: the disconnect between formal education and real-world readiness. Students and young professionals often lack access to industry-aligned learning, career insights, and guided mentorship in a single digital space. The client approached us with a vision to build a platform that nurtures growth, prepares users for careers, and connects them with practical opportunities, all from one place. I joined this project during its concept stage to architect an experience that blends learning, mentoring, assessments, and job discovery into a seamless, guided ecosystem.

Project Overview
To create a career-focused learning and mentoring platform that enables students and professionals to learn, test, chat with experts, and apply for jobs, all in one place.
Minted provides a comprehensive learning ecosystem tailored for aspiring professionals. The platform connects users to structured study material, real-time mentor interactions, MCQ-based assessments, and targeted internship/job listings based on their skills and goals. It also includes a dedicated admin and mentor portal to manage educational content, track learner performance, and respond to queries.
Minted is more than a learning app — it’s a guided career journey. We designed an experience that enables users to set goals, consume educational content, interact with mentors in real-time, take assessments, and apply for relevant opportunities. The platform ensures that users progress through structured programs, with each learning touchpoint monitored, assessed, and supported. Whether it's a comment thread under a lesson or a direct chat with a mentor, Minted ensures learning is collaborative, contextual, and career-aligned.

We took a modular approach to design each role-specific flow while ensuring a unified experience across the platform. Each component content consumption, goal tracking, mentoring, testing, or application — was designed to stand alone and work together.
Our strategy was rooted in clarity, continuity, and collaboration ensuring that users always knew where they were in their journey, had access to support, and could track their progress without friction.
Building a Structured and Scalable Career Readiness Platform
We followed a role-based UX framework with specific testing and validation sessions for students, mentors, and admins.
Empathize Interviewed students, career coaches, and early professionals. Identified gaps in traditional LMS platforms: lack of personalized mentoring, limited interactivity, and poor job alignment. Define Developed personas: The Graduate-in-Transition, The Career Shifter, The Domain Mentor, and The Admin Strategist. Mapped friction points like content overload, missed mentor responses, and opaque test/reporting systems. Ideate Created role-specific dashboards, real-time discussion threads, integrated assessments, and smart job filters. Prototype Designed flows for study material, test reports, skill tagging, mentor chat, and job application tracking. Test Conducted usability testing with three user segments; improved visual clarity, notification hierarchy, and profile completion flow. Refine Added two-layered commenting (General + Q&A), improved test navigation, enabled multi-format uploads, and optimized mobile responsiveness.
Supra launched an easy-to-use and visually appealing app that helps homeowners manage their solar power systems with ease. Every design element works together to create a seamless and intuitive experience.

The design brought structure, flexibility, and community into one platform empowering learners while giving mentors and admins tools to drive engagement and outcomes.
