Travel with Gallagher was created to address a critical need: trusted, comprehensive travel insurance solutions for individuals, families, groups, nonprofits, and organizations traveling globally. With decades of experience in charitable and international insurance services, Gallagher wanted to modernize its web platform to not only inform but also empower users to protect their trips with confidence. Our role was to design and structure the digital experience to communicate reliability, showcase benefits clearly, and simplify the process of exploring and purchasing tailored travel insurance plans.

Project Overview
To create a trustworthy, informative, and easy-to-navigate platform that highlights Gallagher’s travel protection services and guides users to the right insurance plan with minimal effort.
The Travel with Gallagher platform provides international, domestic, and medical malpractice travel insurance benefits tailored for individuals, families, organizations, missionaries, and study-abroad programs. The site includes brochures, FAQs, testimonials, and real-life use cases, reinforcing credibility and trust.
This project transformed a traditional insurance offering into a modern, user-centered digital experience. The site makes it easy to explore plan details, view benefits, learn from testimonials, and access resources, while aligning with Gallagher’s mission of offering peace of mind for travelers worldwide.
Approach
Goal: Build an approachable and transparent platform that balances authority with empathy, ensuring users feel safe and confident while making insurance decisions. We focused on simplifying complex insurance products into digestible, visually engaging modules. Pages were structured around user priorities: Protecting trips, accessing plan details, understanding cancellation coverage, and learning from real customer stories.
By combining strong visual storytelling with structured layouts, we built an experience that emphasizes trust, clarity, and ease of action.
Designing for Trust, Clarity, and Accessibility
We followed a research-driven process, centered on simplifying technical insurance terms and providing users with clear pathways to take action.
Empathize Studied user journeys of families, missionaries, students, and organizations seeking travel coverage. Identified concerns: cost, coverage transparency, and claims process. Define Key personas: The Family Planner, The Student Abroad, The Missionary Traveler, The Organizational Coordinator. Defined the problem: how might we make complex coverage simple and trustworthy? Ideate Explored designs for modular benefit sections, interactive brochures, and testimonials to build trust. Prioritized real stories (videos, testimonials) to humanize the offering. Prototype Designed clear landing pages, plan detail cards, and call-to-action buttons for enrollment. Created layouts for resources, FAQs, and chat support. Test Conducted usability testing with nonprofit staff and frequent travelers. Found that testimonials and simplified plan summaries increased trust and engagement. Refine Streamlined enrollment CTAs, adjusted hierarchy for plan benefits, and added visual cues (icons, cards) for quick scanning.
The design philosophy was rooted in clarity and credibility. Insurance is about trust so the experience had to feel transparent, easy to scan, and supportive. By blending clean layouts, storytelling through testimonials, and actionable navigation, the platform ensures users feel confident from the first click to enrollment.
Final Design
The final design blends clarity and charm combining flat icons, intuitive hierarchy, and bold typography to make financial actions feel light, safe, and empowering.
The design creates an engaging, credible, and easy-to-navigate insurance experience delivering trust and value to users while reinforcing Gallagher’s leadership in charitable travel protection.
